Toilet and picnic areas and the place gets very busy on the weekends in summer, when everyone calls in for a swim to cool down and use the rope swings. Beware of broken glass at the bottom of the pools.

Comments

Lots of water flowing after the rains. Perfect temperature on a hot day.

Short flat walk. Sections can be slippery when wet. Small but attractive falls.
To confirm a previous comment, dogs not permitted.

nice easy walk - best in summer with a towel.

this is not linked to the Maleny Peace in the Trees walk. It is on opposite sides of the creek and not connected. Plenty of picnic places and lots of shady trees over the path.

A pretty gem that lies tucked away.

I think your information might be incorrect about permitting dogs at Gardners Falls?

Good swimming spot, very busy on a hot day

This was a great little walk with scenery to appreciate while 8.5 months pregnant! The recent rains ensured there was plenty of water to admire.

Always a classic 💧
Easy to get to, heaps of rockpools to choose from, cool and refreshing water. There's a reason it's so popular!

Great waterhole

Mackamcb on 25 Jan, 2021

The walk to the swimming hole was very short and flat. However, there are lots of slippery roots and rocks with mud so be careful where you step. The water in the swimhole at the bottom of the big waterfall was very cold but very fresh and pure. Had a nice swim there whilst others jumped in using the rope swing or from the cliffs next to the waterfall. Great place to go on a hot summers day.

Flat walk. More exciting places to visit in Sunny Coast.

Lovely short walk in a very beautiful spot.

Very short, fairly flat but quite muddy after all the recent rain. Powerful waterfall to see up close. Too cold for swimming in winter.

Lovely place to swim and/or eat. Water is cold so enjoy swimming if you dont mind that. Very popular for swimming. . Parking can be an issue. Even just coming here for a short stroll is lovely. I post photos of my hikes to instagram.com/spring_beans am based in the Sunshine Coast :)

Very nice short walk

A good spot to get out of the car to stretch the legs. Great spot for the kids to have a cool off as well.

Very easy flat short track virtually all sealed. It’s quite popular with people who stay for the day as it’s kids friendly and nice picnic areas, so parking spots fill quickly, resulting in parking along the road side and a short walk..

Went here around 11:30am on the 13th of May 2017 and it was just after some heavy rainfall. So the falls were absolutely gorgeous and was raining down lightly. This was a perfect small walk for any time of the year. In the summer time I will definitely be back again. If you're around the area after heavy rain fall or while it's lightly raining. You will not regret it. Just make sure you have some decent water resistant hiking boots so you can walk across the water and explore a bit more.
