Summary

Daintree National Park is comprised of two sections. The crystal-clear waters of the Mossman River cascade over granite boulders in Mossman Gorge Section while Cape Tribulation Section features rainforest-clad mountains that sweep down to long sandy beaches.

Mt Sorrow Ridge walk

A beautiful walk just out of Cape Tribulation town. The start is quite easy and sometimes scrubby in places, and the markers are not always visible. As you climb up the trail gets quite steep and you will be pulling yourself up tree roots and tiny rock handholds for a good distance. The vegetation starts changing as you start climbing and as you reach the top the trail levels out a little. There is a viewing platform at the top.

Start this walk before 10am and make sure to take plenty
