Lomandra & Ironbark Gully (Cedra Circuit)

(Brisbane Forest park D'Aguilar National Park)

A circuit made up of forestry & fire trails can be joined behind the Ironbark Gully picnic area or near the toilets, or at the city end of the car park, or at the Lomandra car park. It climbs from Ironbark Gully up to the ridgeline, with side trails down to Lomandra and back to the carpark. Drinking water is available at the picnic ground.

Access under Samford Road via a culvert bridge extends to Maureen Lawrence Park along the Kedron Brook for foot access from Ferny Grove.

Getting there

Access is off Samford road, just past Ferny Grove, outbound or on foot through a tunnel under Samford Road from Maureen Lawrence Park.

Route/Trail notes

Quite steep in places but since these are mostly fire trails the route is kept clear.  There are lots of side trails to explore.  Clay soil would be slippery after rain.
