Route/Trail notes
The track is good, an old 4WD track, so no problems there. Some small loose rocks here and there but all in all a good track. Easy for beginners to experienced.

The walk to Lightline bush camp was interesting today. Saw a massive python at the beginning of the track. Then approx 500m down the track was a scrub turkey going about its business before I interrupted it. Numerous lizzards scurring around. Some beautiful parrots just added to the beauty of nature. When I reached the bush campsite the fire pit has been removed. I'm not sure why? I dug a small hole in the ground and setup my fire. The coffee didn't take long and soon after that I put my noodles on.
What a great afternoon. Eating my lunch and in the distance I cold see F-111's and F/A 18 Hornets flying around. Tried out some new gear, a good walk.
And on the way back the python was still there. I guess if your THAT big you don't have much to worry about ! (At the widest approx 20cms)

As always a good track. I always enjoy the campsite there with a great fire pit and storm shelter and water if you need it.http://www.youtube.com/user/TheKendo72

Did this walk and great to get to the shelter there and have some lunch. There is a water tank there. Use a last resort and boil water before drinking.http://www.youtube.com/user/TheKendo72
