Stony Creek Weir track

 (Barron Gorge National Park)

Nice little walk along a beautiful creek to swimming holes

Getting there

Follow Kamerunga Rd from the Captain Cook Highway. You'll see a sign for Barron Gorge, don't take that. Instead take the next right after crossing the river. Follow the road to the car park at the end.

Route/Trail notes

Cross over the pipe bridge (not the little concrete overflow) until you come to the Douglas Track sign. Follow the wide road to the left (not the Douglas track) alongside the creek. You will follow a pipe the whole way. Eventually you'll get to the weir when you run out of track. Lots of places to swim along the way, even a rope swing.

I accidentally took this instead of the Douglas track! Wish I had time to go for a swim, was gorgeous
