Barron Falls lookout

 (Barron Gorge National Park)

A lovely little board walk with many information signs to a spectacular waterfall (especially in the wet season).

Getting there

Follow the signs from Kuranda, it's about 6kms out of the town centre.

Route/Trail notes

From the carpark just follow the boardwalk. It's easily accesible as it winds through the rain forest. Plenty of seats and places to look, as well as lots of information signs explaining what you are seeing. Follow it down to the train station, which also has the lookout over the spectacular Barron Falls.

Even saw a snake on the track, despite all of the tourists!
