Brooyar State Forest

Summary
Nestled in the hills north-west of Gympie, Brooyar State Forest is a quiet park including rainforest, eucalypt and hoop pine. Whilst walking opportunities are a little slim, the park includes a couple of good lookouts and also has some good climbing crags.

A VERY short walk to a nice lookout. Also a good place for some rock climbing if you're into that.
Features
The main features of Brooyar are the lookouts at Point Pure and Eagles Nest. The rainforest around Glastonbury Creek also offers some nice areas.
Access
Head north from Gympie on the Bruce Highway for 10km. Turn left onto the Wide Bay Highway. Follow the sign left onto Peterson Rd to the campground at Glastonbury Creek.
