(Bush Camps)
Remote bush camping in open eucalypt woodland surrounded by bloodwoods, grey gums and tallowwoods. The uncommon shrub, Goodenia ovata, shows off its yellow flowers in spring and autumn along the road edge on the walk in.

Getting there
From the park boundary at Forestry Road, Mount Nebo, the campsite is accessed by walking 1.7km along Light Line Road. Forestry Road is a 25-minute drive from Walkabout Creek in The Gap.

Route/Trail notes
The track is good, an old 4WD track, so no problems there. Some small loose rocks here and there but all in all a good track. Easy for beginners to experienced.

As always a good track. I always enjoy the campsite there with a great fire pit and storm shelter and water if you need it.

Did this walk and great to get to the shelter there and have some lunch. There is a water tank there. Use a last resort and boil water before drinking.
